Equine Medical Services was established in 1987 and moved to its current location in 1998. We have been responsible for providing outstanding service to the northern Shenandoah Valley for over 20 years.  Our special interests are in the areas of general medicine and preventive care; breeding and mare/foal care; and sport and performance horse medicine. 

Who We Are

Equine Medical Services is a full service ambulatory practice and intermediate care hospital.  We provide equine veterinary care to a wide area, including the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Loudoun, Fauquier, Warren and Shenandoah in Virginia; Jefferson, Berkeley, Morgan, Hampshire and Hardy in West Virginia; and some portions of Maryland and Pennsylvania.
