Keep an eye out for "Russell Road", a 3 year old Thoroughbred owned by Mark Russell and trained by James E. Casey.  "Russell Road" was bred by Mr. Bobby Lloyd of Berryville from his superb mare Roberta Grump.  "Grump", as she is lovingly referred to, has been a favorite patient of our doctors and staff throughout her breeding career.  And it doesn't hurt that virtually every one of her foals has been a big winner!  But "Russell Road" may be special even by her standards.  He was stellar in his two year old season at Charles Town, winning four races by an average of 9 lengths.  He has now begun his three year old campaign with a win in the Dancing Count Stakes at Laurel.

    His handlers are currently aiming for the Preakness if all goes well.  Wouldn't that be great?  A locally bred horse in one of the Triple Crown races!  Good luck to "Russell Road."
